Since the last beach competition held at Velocity, CREME have been the talk point in the volleyball arena. Of course, CREME, being the brand behind this fast and furious team, we had decided to feed you with a bit more information.

Though it was the first competition for this rookie team, CREME had triumphed as runner up in Velocity Beach Volleyball Competition 2008 and also clinch 2nd runner up in the tertiary men category. They trained hard and bit the pain just for the win. The directors were also there to show support and view their victory.

Hence being the first volleyball team sent out from a fashion label in Singapore, CREME will definitely write some rich history in the sports culture. CREME will also continue scooping all the major title in the arena and bring pride to the brand.

The team fought hard since noon till the sun set this evening. We had a close fight with the team from SCDF and came in 1st runner up in the corporate category just after the team from PSA. It was very remarkable for a new born team like us with such result. We were the hot talking point of the day. Good Job guys!

Valentines 2008

This year's Valentines, one very blessed and lovely couple, Derrick Tan and Delia Ng are being featured on our lifestyle engineering blog.

They are one of the few adventurous couples who responded to our previous V day package and indeed they have a blissful valentines day. "I never expect them to come out with such brilliant ideas and present for both of us." exclaimed Delia when our editor interviewed both of them after that.

In order not to disturb their very special and romantic time together, we told them to take a couple shot and mail it to us. This is the result after a happy couple.

Dream to Reality as Singapore wins bid for 2010 Youth Olympics

A picture speaks a thousand words. On Thursday, 2008 February 21, International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge announced the triumph result during a ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne- Singapore to host first Youth Olympics Games.

For the first time, the Olympics is held in South East Asia, and in Singapore. Singapore has never hosted a major international multi sports event but held a sentimental edge over Moscow. The IOC was eager to reward a city which might never be able to stage the full Olympics.

It will be an event that feature about 3,200 athletes aged 14-18 competing in 26 sports. The event, to be held every four years, is designed to encourage youngsters to get involved in sports and spend less time in front of computer and television screens.

The management of onelabel was watching the news like other Singaporean and felt a great sense of sentiment when Rogge quoted that these games will not only be about competition, they will also be the platform through which youngsters will learn about the Olympic values and the benefits of sport during the ceremony. It was our vision too- to see youth benefits through sports.

As onelabel sporting culture, we would like to congratulate Singapore on her win to host the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. It’s no longer a bid. It’s a dream come true.
